I am mainly a mountain biker but have been itching to ride some road and didn't want to spend a fortune. After looking at a lot of bikes, I settled on the TCR A1. For the price you get a great frame and a good component spec. even though there are a few non-brand components (like the tektro brakes) they still work fine and have confidently slowed me from 50+ mph descents in the Colorado Mountains. overall, the bike is stiff without being uncomfortable, handles well, and looks fast standing still. A ultra light wheelset would really set this machine on fire but it's still great right out of the box.
This is a great bike. I use it for Triathlons, races and exersise. the one feature i like is the bike is comparable to bikes in the $4000 range bit is half the price. Very agressive riding position. Geometry is well designed.
